      I chose to study Astronomy at university because I was really interested in space and wanted to learn more about the universe that we live in. During this time, I learnt about the planets in depth and the search for life on Mars. This got me really interested in the possibility of life beyond the Earth and I went on to do my own research into it, producing a final year project based on astrobiology.

      Now it’s my subject of choice, I’m doing a PhD in it and I love it!
