My Dad listened to a lot of David Bowie whilst I was growing up. He sings a lot of songs about space and astronauts. Hearing these got me thinking about how scary and exciting it must be to go into space and how beautiful it must be to look down on your planet Earth. My interest in space kick-started my interest for all science and I went on to study science at A-level before studying astronomy at university. I still listen to David Bowie a lot now!
