• Question: What do you think about Neil Armstrong's achievement and how did you feel when you found out he walked on the moon?

      I think it is an amazing achievement to have walked on the moon. There were actually two other astronauts with Neil Armstrong when he landed on the moon with the Apollo 11 mission. One astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, joined Neil Armstrong on the surface of the moon and another, Michael Collins, stayed on board the Apollo 11 spacecraft to keep track of their mission. Although Michael Collins didn’t get to walk on the moon, he did get to see something amazing. He got to see the Earth rise from the moon (similar to how we see the sun rise from Earth)! This is what he saw: . It’s absolutely beautiful and I think makes up for not getting to walk on the moon!

      Now 12 people have walked on the moon, and it’s very inspiring. Hopefully even more people will in the future!
