      Great question! (this answer is for wheat, it’s different for every species!) It changes depending on how old the plant is when you take away its water and put the temperature to 30C. If it was really young (like, less than 1 month old) then it would probably die after a day or so! But if it was pretty old (around 6-8 months) then it would start trying to grow really really fast. That’s because the wheat will panic that it doesn’t have enough water and it’s too hot so it will make its seeds as fast as it can and then die as soon as it has put all its energy into its seeds (can be up to 1 week). That way, the seeds will survive even if the parent plant dies.
