• Question: where does the respiration happen in a cell

      Great biology question! Respiration happens mainly in a sort of mini-cell called a mitochodrion which is inside all of your cells. Your cell gives the mitochondrion oxygen (from your breath) and some chemicals and the mitochondrion makes energy (for your growth and muscles) and carbon dioxide (which you breath out!). The mitochondrion is like a factory in your cell, it powers everything your cells do. Here’s a picture of one from a very good microscope!
